Annual Reports for both the Taconic & Green and Mettawee School Districts are now available to help voters prepare for the March 3rd election on proposed school budgets for Fiscal Year 2027 (FY27). The documents provide details on proposed spending, show the calculation of anticipated tax rates, provide answers to frequently asked questions (FAQs) and much more.
Registered voters in Pawlet and Rupert were mailed copies of the Mettawee School District Annual Report. The Taconic & Green Annual Report, meanwhile, has been prepared for residents of Danby, Dorset, Landgrove, Londonderry, Manchester, Mt. Tabor, Peru, Sunderland and Weston. The T&G document can be picked up at local libraries, town offices, and any one of the five T&G Schools: Manchester Elementary Middle School, The Dorset School, Flood Brook School, Currier Memorial School, and Sunderland Elementary School.

The T&G and Mettawee School Districts will also hold public in-person Annual Meetings on the Sunday prior to Election Day on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. At both Sunday sessions, School Board members and staff will be available to respond to questions from the public on the proposed education budgets for FY27 (July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027).
The Mettawee School Board will host its Annual Meeting at the Mettawee Community School on Sunday, March 1st, at 4:30 pm. T&G’s Annual Meeting will be held later the same day at the Sunderland Elementary School at 7:00 pm. Attendees for the T&G Meeting are encouraged to arrive early for an informal meet and greet opportunity with board members and neighbors that will begin at 6:30 PM.
