The future of local high school soccer will be on full display at the Equinox Valley Middle School Soccer Tournament at the Dana Thompson Memorial Park in Manchester. The games on Thursday, October 15th and Friday, October 16th feature teams from five middle schools: Flood Brook, Maple Street, Long Trail, Mount Anthony and Equinox Valley Middle School. 

“The purpose of this tournament is to give these middle school teams a FUN opportunity for a modified, end-of-the-season tournament,” said Taconic & Green Athletic Director, Pat Whalen. “Please remember, above all, that sportsmanship and fun is the main focus of these two days of Soccer. We look forward to 8 exciting matches!”

3:30 PM: Equinox Valley Girls vs. Long Trail Girls on McClellan Field

3:30 PM: Mt. Anthony Girls vs. Flood Brook Girls on Eckhardt Field

4:45 PM: Equinox Valley 8th Boys vs. Maple Street Boys on McClellan Field

4:45 PM: Long Trail Boys vs. Flood Brook Boys on Eckhardt Field

Friday, October 16th (At Applejack Stadium)

3:30 PM: Boys’ Consolation Game

5:00 PM: Girls’ Consolation Game

6:30 PM: Boys’ Championship Game

8:00 PM: Girls’ Championship Game

Monday, October 19th will be used as a potential rain date in case of bad weather on either of the other days. All games are free admission and a Food Truck/Concession Stand will be available for the Friday games at Applejack Stadium.
